This country at one time was a country of people helping people and now it is a country of greedy people that do not care about their fellow man just how much money they can get from people. I had a business that was 25 years old that I worked very hard at and was proud of. Now it is to the point that the banks have run me out of business and they are trying to take my home from me, they have destroyed my credit sore, and my income, and running me throw the courts system like I am a piece of dirty. I was not even told when the trials was, but I they do find out throw the locale newspaper that I have loose the case. I have been trying to get some finical help however no one wants to help me because that banks have made me look like I am a dead bet. I am so upset that a big organization can destroy a person and know no one in this country seems to cares about it. I was just asking for a little help so I could get back on my feet. I need Dental work it is getting to the point that I cannot eat, I need some kind of legal help to fight this unfair justest. I was just asking for help to get things going so I can be on my own again. But that is not happening in this country any more. I do not get unemployment and have not had an income for 5 months and have no family that I can count on for help. I guess the moral to this story is if you work hard and play by the rules they will destroy you, but if you cheat, lie, and steal you get rick. I would like to have some help but after a year of trying and about to lose my home in the next few month there is no help and soon I can join the homeless on the street. At the age of 61 there is not much to live for now it is over for me because people do not help people any more. The past is over and there is a new way in the country that I do not understand. I have spent all my life helping people and I guess I am getting my just reward for it.
I am sorry things are going bad for you and many others. I know when my dad was forced to retire at 61 so younger ones could come in he would have rather worked.
For a growing number of persons faced with losing their independence and struggling to keep housing costs within their budget, shared housing is an affordable and viable alternative.
A home sharer might be a senior citizen, a person with disabilities, a working professional, someone at-risk of homelessness, a single parent, an AIDS patient, or simply a person wishing to share his or her life and home with others. For these people, shared housing offers companionship, affordable housing, security, mutual support and much more.
Shared living has been known to enhance the health and well-being of all people and allows people to remain independent in their home. Home Sharing also preserves neighborhoods, creates an affordable housing and saves housing and healthcare dollars.
